Hello, thought I would bring us up to date. Everyone is doing well. The three of us are sick again. How come my husband never gets sick? Emma has a nasty cold, Maddie's getting over it and I'm just getting it. Not quite proper grammar, but oh well. I'm pretty sure I may have another ear infection. So I might have to run to the doctor's tomorrow. I guess since it's been less than a month since my other ear infection that I'm pretty sure. I think I'm too old for this.
Emma is doing great! She's walking more and more every day, although she still prefers to crawl. Today she made huge progress. Instead of just falling after 3-4 steps, she would really try to steady herself. She can tell me where my nose, her belly, head, tongue, hands, and feet are. She says bear, ball, Maddie (so clearly now), no-no, uh-oh, mommy, daddy, pretty, and few others. She can identify all of the bear and the big blue house people are. It is so exciting for me. She loves for me to read to her. Oh, and I discovered this thing called a sleep sack. It's the coolest thing. She wears it like a sack instead of a blanket, which she won't keep on her anyway. I think she loves it. It's so soft and she must feel so much warmer now.
Maddie is turning into a real little girl. She is not a toddler anymore. She is such a little mommy. She will really be on the defense and tell Emma what she's not allowed to do. If she's crawling up the steps, Maddie will go and try to pull her away. Or She'll tell her, "that's too small Emma, don't put it in your mouth or you'll choke." She sounds so grown up. She loves to play computer games and has mastered all of the bear in the big blue house games (of course) on playhousedisney.com.
I scored a 100 on my first test. I was so happy. I couldn't believe it.
We're going on an all day date on Saturday. Haven't decided what exactly we're doing yet. Maybe going skiing. Than the next day I'm spending the day out with my very good friend. I think we're going to go antiquing.
Well, that's all. Hope everyone is doing well. Thanks for reading.
Jess
