Jessica's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

February 2, 2004

Hi everyone. Today has been an interesting day. It's my birthday today. I've been battling a cold and finally caved in and went to the doctor's today. I have a double ear infection and a sinus infection. I feel like I am a little old to be having ear infections (I'm now 27). Already I am feeling sooooo much better since I took the antibiotics. I love feeling like myself. I felt like my head was going to explode from all of the pressure. I did have to babysit four kids this morning, for two hours, which was unplanned. Not exactly what I wanted to do, but I was my friends back-up for her doctor appointment. But in return she watched my kids while I went to the doctors.

I'm having a pampered chef party tomorrow. It's my first party ever of that nature. I hope it's a lot of fun. Now that I am feeling better I am in the cleaning mode.

I start my first class (nutrition) this Friday. I am really excited.

Maddie is well again. She slept through the night and kept everything down the next day. Her and Emma have colds. I can't wait for spring!

EMma is actually communicating with me! She will ask me to read her a book, over and over. She attempts to hand it to me and then grunts. I love it. She will point to something that she wants and grunt. She's eating better. I'm back to spoon feeding her, but atleast she's eating. Dinner was such a battle. I will spoon feed her what I think is enough and then hand her the bowl with a spoon or fork and she can finish. She usually plays with it but this is such an improvement.

Well, thanks for reading. I'm off to go clean and hang out with Ray.

Take care,

Jess
