Hi. It's been a little exciting for me. I've enrolled in school! For the past several years I have thought about one day going to school to become a nurse. I already have a BA and was thinking about starting this coming September. There's some good schools around me so I decided to check into it now to see what I needed. I can start in the fall of 2005 in an accelerated two-year weekend program. But I am missing about 5 or so classes on my transcript so I enrolled to start this semester at a community college to make them up. I am so excited. I'll be taking nutrition. Something I am interested in anyway.
I've also started a little side business. I was looking for a cute t-shirt for Emma and couldn't find one, so I decided to make one myself. I thought they were adorable. I showed them to a friend of mine and she bought three. And she wants to buy more for all the new babies in her music classes. She teaches mommy and me music classes that I bring the girls to. Also very exciting, but a little stressful. I need to really look into the legistics of everything. But I think I might start a website. We'll see. If I do make a website, I'll post it on here.
South Beach- I think this is so much better than Atkins! I really like this diet. It seems like more of a lifestyle change than anything, but I like it. I couldn't be happier. My pre-pregnancy jeans fit! Only 13 months later, but better than never. I have lost 13 lbs since THanksgiving, first with Atkins, and now south beach. I feel like I look good. I feel more confident. At the most I think I could lose another 10 lbs, but
would be thrilled with 5. I've been working out again as of Monday. I plan on going all week. I'm back to running. I haven't done that in months. So, with the exception of a few lingering stressors, I'm very happy.
Emma can stand now forever. I think any day she'll be brave enough to take that first step. It's like her legs are stuck to the floor. She's really excited though. She says Mommy, Daddy, Maddie, What's this?, and Baby.
She's started to point at things now. She's very stubborn though. Seems like she won't eat dinner anymore. Absolutely refuses. It frustrates me but I'm not giving up yet.
Maddie's great. Not much is new with her.
Well I have to go. I need to clean, clean, clean and try to reduce all this clutter that's filling up my house.
Thanks for reading, and thanks Jen for writing about my carseat question. I really appreciated it.
Jess
