I've always bragged about how Amanda was one of those good girls regarding getting into things and causing general household damage. She doesn't flush things down the toilet. she doesn't break things. She has never unrolled the toilet paper. That all ended last weekend when she found the COSTCO sized container of baby powder. She was quiet for much too long when my husband when looking fo her. As soon as he opened the bathroom door, she started crying. She must have known she was doing someting wrong. She had covered the entire room with baby powder, including herself. I'll attempt to attach a photo (assuming my husband put them into the computer)Amanda claims she was "painting".
Our latest phase is the picky-about-clothing phase. Amanda will not wear anything with buttons, zippers, or snaps. I had to go shopping for leggings and sweats. She's potty training (an entire separate issue...) but she knows how to unbutton and unsnap. She's done it before. She says things on her belly bother her. Even today when I dressed her in elastic waisted pants, she made me roll the top down off her belly. AAAHHH, the independant phase!
No recent milestones for Alison. She fell off the bed this morning, and is generally much more mischievious than Amanda ever was. She will undoubtedly create stories for me to tell!
