Jerri's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

July 14, 2004

Today was my BIG appt at the genetics lab. First off....the sex......it's aa baby with it's leg's crossed. Otherwise the baby was healthy in all areas except the nuchal fold and cerebellum which was also not visible. The baby was moving all over the place (I had 2 soda's and oj and I guess it was overkill). The doc's basic thoughts were that the u/s was "inconclusive" and I will have another one in 3 weeks. Tomorrow is my regular ob appt and I suppose I will be seen again in 3 weeks there as well. M/s has returned with a vengance so....this is not good by no means as far as I am concerned, lol. The odd thing is this, baby only measured the 16 weeks that it actually is. That has to mean girl right? Teeeheeeheee. Walker measured 2 weeks ahead by now and all the way to the end so I'm figuring I'm getting a little baby this time, lol. We did the blood chromosome testing on dh and I which was just a blood draw. The doc acted as if he would have preferred me have the amnio today and not come back but I just wasn't doing that with no markers or anything indicated its necessity. So, that is it in a nutshell.
