What a busy week we have had this week!! The lead up to Christmas certainly is very busy for us here in Hong Kong. There are so many exciting things to do here and the Christmas decorations and lights around Hong Kong are something else. Dylan thinks it is just wonderful!!Dylan is still cutting his 2-year molars and boy, do they cause problems for all of us. He does not settle well at night and is quite unsettled during the day. He gets quite naughty at times!! He refuses to eat and has about four milk bottles a day. I am hoping this is quite normal, and no doubt that little mouth of his must be very, very sore. His toilet training has declined in a big way and he is now back to wearing pull-ups when we go out because he was having accidents every time we went out. It is difficult in winter because when he has an accident he can get quite cold. My DH and I have been worried about the whole toilet training thing and have decided to just go with the flow and not worry about it anymore. Dylan was going so well. Maybe it is all related to teething??? Who knows??
Dylan has got his playgroup Christmas party on this Friday. It is so cute seeing all the little kids running around playing games and eating lots of party food!!! They have such a great time. Santa comes to give them all a present, but last year Dylan wouldn't be in that. I went with him to get his present and even then he was not sure. I don't think much will have changed this year and in fact when we ask Dylan if he is going to get his photo taken with Santa he says, "No, Mummy". Santa is still too big and red for Dylan!!
Not much else has happened this week. DH is very busy at work with the half-yearly exams beginning this week but nice at the same time because when he is not supervising an exam he is able to come home. Dylan loves it when his Daddy comes home from work to play with him!!
If anybody has any hints on toilet training I would love to hear from you!!
Have a great week and happy toddling!!!
Jenny and Dylan
