Aaron busted his ear on a table in the nursery at church on Sunday. It is amazing that he waited to do it after we had their pictures taken. We were lucky to get one decent shot. Aaron was difficult. He wanted to lay down and when we persuaded him to not lay down, he tried to knock down the background. Then he did this weird roll around and wiggle thing. The one picture we got wasn't great. If fact, it wasn't what I would consider a good picture either, but it wasn't bad, so we had to settle. After 10 minutes of trying to get a better one, we realized we should not press our luck. Aaron was dressed so cute. Kirk looked like a little model. And Anne - oh, Anne looked like an angel.

Aaron learned his first kid joke. "Butt." Wasn't that funny? No? He thinks so. In fact, Aaron thinks it is about the funniest thing in the world. It is an endlessly funny joke -- a classic. Kirk found it hilarious, too.
