Okay, DH is in California and I am living in my grandparents' basement. I haven't seen DH in a week now. I'm doing okay. DH is doing okay. Anne and Aaron are doing okay. Kirk, on the other hand, seems to be acting out a little. He is acting a little strange, or maybe talking a little strange. I don't know. One minute he is saying that he is glad daddy is gone the next he misses daddy. One minute he is okay and the next I can't talk about daddy because it makes Kirk think of him and makes him miss daddy. DH is hoping it will only be 3 months until we can move out. Kirk on the other had believes we will see him "tomorrow."
Kirk is enjoying living so near to my parents and his aunt. They live next door to my grandparents. We are spending a lot of time with my family and eating a lot of comfort food. Last night we had brownie a la mode for dinner and the night before we made homemade doughnuts. Because of all the comfort food, my sister and I began walking this morning. We walked for thirty minutes and nearly died. We are in such bad shape.
Last week, Kirk, my sister and I went to camp. Kirk was one of the youngest campers there and, as such, was totally harassed the entire time. My sister and I were in charge of arts and crafts. What was originally supposed to be an hour a day working with crafts turned into a five hour a day job. On top of that, two of the nights, we were the entertainment. We sang songs, performed skits and were, all in all, thrilled that no one took a video camera. Annie spent the whole week being passed around from camper to worker and, if she wasn't before, she is now officially spoiled rotten. Aaron's vocabulary has grown so much. The other day he and I went to my parents' house and rang the door bell. We waited out side for someone to answer and after a few moments Aaron said, "Uh-oh. They gone-gone." The other night Aaron was in the Dragon Lovers Club (playroom) with my sister when my dad called them down for dinner. Aaron pointed to the door and said "Open dat." He has started telling on his sister when she picks on him. This morning she pulled Aaron's hair and Aaron said "Uh-oh. Mommy! Nanoo!" He can express himself so well now. I am so proud of him.
