Jenna's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

March 30, 2001

Wow! It has been about 2 weeks since I last wrote. Why? Don't laugh. I've spent ALL my free time playing a video game--Paper Mario. It is a very motherly thing to do, huh? During naps, after bed time, stolen moments during the day--those are the times some couples would make time to make love. I was playing the N64. I should be ashamed.
Aaron moved into the toddler bed last night. I'd wanted to move him earlier, but I couldn't find the bolts and stuff. They were packed up somewhere. I found them 2 nights ago and we set it up last night. Aaron loves it. He was so excited. He slept very well and he and Anne played on it this afternoon before their naps. I have left his baby bed in the room, but he did so well, that I may take it out tomorrow.
Anne is a chatty baby. She is speaking very clearly and loudly. She is a silly thing. If you look at her you see a delicate, petite, very feminine baby girl. Then she opens her mouth and talks in the loud strangely vibrato-ed voice that Wes compares to the Martians on Mars Attacks. She has a very sexy Lauren Bacall laugh. Her arms and legs are long, she's very pretty, she has amazing eyes and lips. Her daddy is going to have a miserable time as her father.
On April 5 we are going to take the kids to the zoo. My mom, sister, and grandma are going with the kids and myself. Zoo Atlanta has new panda's that we have yet to see and we are so looking forward seeing them. Aaron hasn't been to the zoo since he was about 6 months old and Anne was only there in-utero. Kirk hasn't been there in 2 years, so it'll be exciting for him, too. Zoo trips had been an annual event for Wes and I. When Kirk was born we took him with us every year. I can't wait to share this with the babies. This is a tradition we plan on continuing from now on. There is a petting zoo that I think the babies will especially like-though Aaron's tendency to being bit may make it extra exciting.
Have a great weekend and an exciting spring break!
Jenna
