Introduction
Well, Thanksgiving Day is past and over the weekend we put up our Christmas tree. Nathan was is complete awe. He even has a little lit tree on the dresser in his bedroom, as does his sister. I'm not sure how that happened. I think that my mother did that last year because we put the big Christmas tree downstairs and she felt that the kids were being cheated since they couldn't see the tree 24/7, so she got one for each of them for their bedrooms. This year we put the big tree upstairs and I'm excited because Nathan loves it, but isn't bothering it much at all. His sister has taken a liking to crawling underneath it, but we don't want Nathan to catch her doing that as then we'll have a big problem. Toppled-Tree, I imagine. Christmas will be a lot of fun with Nathan this year. Anytime anyone mentions "presents," he explodes with joy and excitement. He saw Santa at the mall a week or so ago and wouldn't go near him, but waved. He was very tickled when Santa saw him and waved back. This is the first Christmas in about four years that I've been really excited, myself. A lot of it has to do with this sweet boy of mine and watching his face light up at the sight of everything "holiday." It'll be a fun season.
