Well, it's Halloween!! Woohoo! Nathan was a trip! His sister was too sick to go out, so he said that he would help fill up her bucket for her. Well, he wanted all of the candy for himself and I had to exercise great sneakiness in filling her bucket from the contents of his. I let him walk most of the way, which took way too long. Fourteen houses in about one hour. When his bucket got full, and it did get completely full, it was so heavy that he couldn't carry it. He wouldn't let me help him, either. He must have fallen over a handful of times trying to carry that thing!!! He dressed like Pooh and let me paint a brown nose on him with makeup.
Well, Nathan has discovered that he can get out of his bed at night. The good thing is that he just sits and plays on his bedroom floor. Today at naptime, he fell asleep on the floor as well. The bad part will be when he gets brave enough to exit the bedroom when he's supposed to be going to sleep.
In the last few weeks, Nathan has been outside playing in the piles of leaves. He is so unlike his sister, in that he will just dive right in and bury himself and throw them sky high. She just likes to run through them and not get dirty. Ahhh, the difference between boys and girls!
