Morning Sickness ~ YUCK!
On Tuesday I woke up, got Kevin ready for school. Tom got up because he had to work the day shift because the town he works in was intertaining people from their sister city program, that meant that he would be getting off around 4 p.m. Our plan was that when he got home arond 5 p.m we would go to our local health club to check it out and grab some dinner. I fed Maxx and then we went grcery shopping, I came home put the groceries away, striped all the sheets off all our beds, vacuumed the mattresses and remade all the beds. Then I vaccummed the whole house, all before lunch. I fed Maxx and put him down for a nap, then I sat down to eat and relax a little before Kevin came home. I chose to have the left over mexican food from Sunday. Kevin came home and we played the two games we bought a Toys R Us the day before (they were having a buy 1 get 1 free game sale). Tom called around 4:30 to tell me he was running a little late and would be leaving around 5. I got Maxx up around 5:30, he has a cold and I had given him triaminic before his nap. I continued cleaning while the kids were playing and at 6:15 I finally called Tom to see where he was. He said he was just leaving, WHAT! I just about blew a gasket, by this time I was tired and hungry and the kids were getting hungry too. I also knew that if we went ahead with our plans for the evening Kevin would be getting to bed way too late. I let Tom know how mad I was and he suggested that we stay home and I make dinner, well thats fine if he would have let me know a head of time but by that time I was just too tired and mad. So he suggested we order take out and we settled on Chinese. While we were eating I noticed that I felt like I had a rock in my stomach but I thout it was just because I was tired and mad. We got the kids to bed and then I showered and got in bed, I was relly tired and was probably a sleep before 10 p.m. I woke up shortly afterwards feeling really sick to my stomach so I stumbled to the bathroom and chugged some pepto bismol and tried to sleep which didn't happen because I felt like shit and Tom was snoring. I must have started to fall asleep but I woke up and flew to the bathroom were I spent most of the night on the toilet praying that I would'nt throw up also. I also took massive amounts of pepto bismol which probably prevented me from actually throwing up.
At one point I was laying on a rug in the bathroom and I remembered that this is what morning sickness feels like, ugh, why would I ever want to put myself through that again? I have kept Tom from having a vasectomy because I wasn't sure if I wanted another one and here I am feeling that horrible feeling that, for me, lasts most of the pregnancy. I eventually went back to bed and slept on and off until it was time to get Kevin ready for school. Tom had to work days again so he helped me get Kevin ready for school. Tom left and I got Maxx a dry breakfast and a sippy cup and locked us in upstairs. I closed all the doors to all the rooms and turned on a movie for Maxx (Scooby Doo, of course)in the loft and layed in bed. In a way I felt better but I still felt like shit. Luckily Tom was able to get off early and he came home and took care of Maxx while I slept for a blissful 4 hours! When I woke up I felt a little better and Tom had made dinner and kept the kids entertained. We ate dinner and then got the kids to bed, late again, and then watched the debate (who are YOU voting for?) I had trouble sleeping, probably because I had just had a long nap, and I had just dozed off when Kevin crawled in bed with us and said his stomach hurt and before I could get myself turned around and out of bed he puked all over my side of the bed. Luckily Tom jumped up and was able to get him to the bathroom before the major puking began. I got Kevin back to bed, while Tom cleaned up the bathroom and then I had to change the sheets on our bed (did I mention that I just changed them?!) Luckily there was no more throwing up but we kept Kevin home form school today just in case. Who will get it next Maxx or Tom?
No, I'm not pregnant and even though I felt like shit I'm still on the fence even though I know that Tom is done.
