p>What do I do now?!?! I put Jake in a time-out this morning, for sneaking out onto our deck because: a) he knows he's not allowed to do, b) it was 30 degrees outside c) he was in his pj's with no socks or slippers even! Now the only place where a time-out is even remotely effective is in his room, where there's no toys or books. He figured out how to open his door several ago, so we started locking it (not to worry, it can be opened from the outside very easily should the need arise). He figured that out, too, so we bought doorknob covers.So today, just before I went to go get him out, he comes down the stairs. I ran up to his room to see how he got out. The lil' varmint had taken the doorknob cover off!! Please don't laugh. No, really, it's not funny, I have a problem here. Please stop laughing. Okay, that's it--I'm going to ship him off to YOUR house!!!
Seriously, what can I do with Houdini Jr.??? Do they rent out straitjackets???? This is one aspect of the "terrible twos" I just wasn't prepared for.
