I went to the "mommy doctor" last week to see about getting my BCP prescription changed. I need something "stronger" than the mini-pill, but I don't want to suffer the weight-gain problem that I did with my old prescription (pre-Jake).
My doc gave me three months' worth of samples of a new tri-phasic pill that should help my problems. I'm supposed to check back with her before (weight, blood pressure) before she writes out the prescription. Wish me luck!
Jacob's test results came back from the lead screen. He's well within normal limits. Whew!
We took him to his second high school football game, but it was very chilly out and he didn't seem to enjoy it as much as the first game we took him to. The first time was about a week before his birthday, and he loved watching the cheerleaders, dancing with the band, and cheering for the football team. He learned how to clap and say "Yeah!" that night.
He even clapped for me when we had his portraits made. I ended up going to Sears because the guy (at the farm) I interviewed with turned out to be a real nutcase. His prices were outrageous, too. I added some of his portraits to his Web site. Feel free to check it out! http://community.webtv.net/jbeermann/JacobsWorld
