Jen B's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

August 21, 2001

It's been a week since Jake hurt his ankle, and I still don't know what's going on. He was doing fine by Thursday, but he must have re-injured it over the weekend. He's back to limping really badly and whiining like crazy. I've been giving him Tylenol and it seems to help, and he lets me touch the ankle, so I don't think anything is broken. If he doesn't improve in a few days, I'm calling the Dr. again.

I've also been working with Jake on potty training. He peed while sitting on the potty on Friday. He wasn't sitting far forward enough for it to go in the bowl, and despite our praises, he freaked out. He hasn't wanted to sit on the potty much since then. He has been asking for me to change him, though. I tried letting him go naked for awhile, but he seemed upset about it and wanted a diaper on. He might not be ready yet, but I'll keep trying a bit longer before giving up.

Little man is in his whiny mode again, so I'd better go . . .
