Shame on me for jumping the gun. I'm on cycle day #30 today, and I got antsy yesterday, and took an hpt. It was negative, which I expected (so much that I bought a 2-test pack), since it was really too soon. I have longer than average cycles off bcp, so I really should have known better.
Besides that, we are in the process of bidding on that house, so it would be best that I not start out a pregnancy all stressed out, or have to move. And this is only my first cycle off bcp, and it's unlikely I'd be that lucky twice.
Still, I'm disappointed. I wonder how much harder it will be the longer we're trying. I've already decided to start charting my cycles after this one ends. All I've done thus far is keep track of the days, and occasionally check CM.
Oh, lovely. Jake just brought me a dirty diaper from his diaper pail. Yuck! Why does he do this? Guess that's my cue that he wants my attention.
