I am SO proud of my little boy! Not only did he say "I wuv you" for the first time Monday night, but he pee peed on the potty last night!!!! He did this all by himself, too--no kidding! I was drying him off after his bath, and he wouldn't let me finish. He just hurried over to the toilet, put his seat on it, the stool in front, climbed on and did his thing. He even held his "member" down, and all without even telling me he had to go.
Dh was there, too, and we were near tears we were so happy. Anyone who's dealt with this whole potty training gauntlet know how big a deal this is. The rest of you--just wait . . .
Oh, and I am perfectly aware that this is one small step in a long journey, but even small successes are worth celebration.
