Jen B's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

January 10, 2001

I'm itchin' and a' scritchin', and I've got that feeling again (no, not the Bear Cha-Cha-Cha)! I'm talking about Cabin Fever! It is snowing yet again, and while it's not bad enough to keep me off the road, the expired FL tag on my car is. It's a long story, but suffice it to say until the situation is straightened out, I'm not going anywhere.

I did get out for a bit this weekend. Dh and I went to see a few houses with the realtor. We found one we really liked, but Dh's commute would have been the same it is now. So we'll keep looking, I guess.

I can't wait for Jacob to have a bigger house to play in. He had so much fun running all over my father-in-law's house in Florida, I almost felt guilty bringing him home again. Almost. At least he has his Climb & Slide and the dog to keep him busy.

He's also been busy saying more words, which is something of a relief. He's been babbling nonstop, but I've been concerned about him not saying more "real" words. He now says thank you, here, dog, yeah, Missy (dog's name), that and sit. I'm working with him on saying "please" now, in hopes of breaking his habit of throwing a cup or snack container and yelling when he wants more.

Like now, he's decided he wants more milk … better go!

Jen =)
