Jen's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
March 29, 2000
Well folks, it looks like we get to see what Jason will be like as a big brother! I took a test last Wednesday and it came up positive, and almost a week later my temperature is still in the higher range (for those of you who chart your cycles). I am so happy about this.If you read my Preconception diary as well, this is a repeat story, but I had to share it here: after I told my husband that I was pregnant, he turned to our son and said, "Jason, you are going to have a little brother or sister!" To which Jason replied, "Uh-oh!" LOL, maybe he really does understand.
I just got back from a trip to Chicago, and it was so nice to have those few days to do what I wanted (though of course I didn't get to have any Sangria at the tapas restaurant we went to, sigh). Being away for that time really helped me to appreciate the time I do have with my son, and I want to make the most of the next eight months.
As happy as I am that we're having another baby, I have to admit that there is a small part of me that will miss the time I've had with Jason alone. I will have to make sure that I make an effort to set aside some time that's just the two of us. I wonder what it will be like though, snuggling two little ones to sleep? Sounds like heaven to me!
