Introduction
Hey Everyone,
The last entry was short because I accidentally pushed enter and it just posted, sorry but I got annoyed and didn't feel like starting all over again. Well anyway, I'm so glad this season is almost over. I know it sounds horrible, but I have absolutely no Christmas spirit. I try to put up a front for the kids sake, but I've really grown to dread Christmas. It's gotten so expensive, and the true meaning of Christmas is totally forgotten. I remember how excited I used to get when I was younger. Not just only because of the presents, though that was a big part of it, but also because the feeling of Christmas. It seems like everyone has lost that feeling, and it is replaced by coldness. Very sad!!!
Well anyway, two days til Christmas and I'm not even done shopping yet! Go figure. Thankfully I only need gift certificates, or
I'd really be in trouble. The kids are done for the most part, you know there's always that one or two things that you want to pick up.
Our next big project is planning Andrew and little miss Kayla's birthday party. We are having it at a community center. It's actually going to be a triple party, my nephew is Jan 12, Andrew Jan 20 and Kayla is Feb 2. They're all close enough that the family is not going to want to come out three times, so we usually throw one big party, and it works out nice. I can't wait to get started on the decorations and gift bags!! That is my favorite thing to do.
I can't believe my baby is turning two, and my other baby is turning six. Where has the time gone? I can remember their births so well, and remember when they were newborns. It's so hard to realize how much they've grown! I wish my baby was a baby again. Of course, like clock work I have a case of the babies. I love having a baby in the house, and now that she is so independamt, I want someone to need me again. My head keeps saying no, but my heart keeps saying, why not. I know it's not feasible right now to have another child, we're struggling to give the four we have enough attention, what would I do with five children, but of course my heart says, love it! Well I know I need to do some serious soul searching as well as financial analysis before I make any final decisions. Who knows where this will lead me!
Well I'm going to go cook dinner for my little darlings! Sorry my entry was so down this close to the holidays.
Happy Holidays to you and your families!
Janis and Kayla
