HI Everyone,
Well my little miss was sick for Thanksgiving. It seems like every holiday, at least one of my kids are sick. She's been battling a cold for about a month, but it just happened to be worse on that day! She was very miseable and ended up sleeping most of the afternoon. However my smart little one woke up just in time for pie!! Other than Kayla being sick, the day was nice. My kids ran around all day and just enjoyed themselves. The problem with that is that Andrew, the five year old has asthma and the running around caused it to flare up. He was coughing and vomiting all night. I had him lay around all weekend and by Monday morning he was fine, so I sent him to school. Well they had to run for the bus in the morning which flared it all up again. The poor little man vomited on the bus.
I wasn't even at work 15 minutes when I got a call from my dh. He had just taken off the Monday before because he was sick and we needed to pick Andrew up from school. So I left work and went to his school. When we got there he had to walk up the steps to us, by the time he got to us he was wheezing. So needless to say, Andrew and I spent the day in the emergency room yesterday. They had him do an hour long breathing treatment and gave him a new inhaler. My poor little guy! The worst part is that he just can't keep still. He'll sit for about five minutes and be ready to run. I have to canstantly remind him to sit down and relax. He's being creative though. If I say stop running, he either responds with, I wasn't running, I was skipping or hopping, or walking real fast. He's so funny, and I hate being the bad guy!!!
Well back to Kayla, she is 22 months old today and growing like a weed!!! She got a haircut on Wednesday and looks adorable. She keeps telling everyone she got an aircuk and looks pity and bootifu.
She also is able to say everyone in the families name, or some variation of it, except her brother Thomas. Well she finally called him by his name yesterday, and he was so excited he wrote it on the calendar. She really is the center of all of our world.
Did anybody finish their Christmas shopping? I actually went out on Black Friday and got alot of it done. What a mob scene. I wallked in Walmart and walked right back out! What a mob scene!!
Well Thanks for reading, hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving!!!
