Janis's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
November 2, 2003
Hi everyone,
Well my baby is 21 months today!! That is so hard for me to believe. It feels like just yesterday she was born, and now her second birthday is creeping up on me!
Halloween
I took Kayla and two of her brothers out trick or treating this year. The oldest stayed home and gave out candy. My cousin came over to help me with the kids, Thank goodness, because it's hard to keep your eye on three kids at the same time, in the dark. I was really dreading halloween this year because last year they did not lasten well, but this year was a pleasant surprise. They were all so well behaved. I didn't take Kayla up and down the steps, because she insists on doing everything herself, so she sat in her oach and just enjoyed looking at everyone. Kayla was Dora, and she was very excited about it. She even kept the Dora hair on the whole time. The only downside is that she wants so much candy. I've never really given her alot of candy, so she didn't know what to do with herself. I finally had to put it all on top of the fridge. She is not a happy camper.
Birthday Party
We also went to a birthday party for my friends little boy. It's his second birthday. My DH was supposed to meet us at the birthday party and never showed up. Now don't get me wrong the kids were very well behaved again, but anybody who has four kids knows it's impossible to keep your eye on all of them at the same time at a birthday party, especially when they're all running in different directions, It would have been nice to have an extra pair of eyes there.
Well I'm done venting!!!
Question for my TTM board. My boys were both three before they were potty trained, but Kayla is already showing signs of being ready! How can you really tell if she's ready?
Til next time!!
