Janis's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
October 13, 2003
Hi Everyone,
Well the terrible two's have DEFINATELY hit. I know she's not two yet, but she's sure acting like it. What happened to my sweet, smiling, easy to please baby girl?
She is really turning into such a little stinker. Whenever my husband suggests taking the kids out, I cringe at the thought of taking her. Even with all the frustration,it's so much fun to watch her personality develop. I sit back and think about what it's going to be like when she is a teenager, and boy am I in trouble!!!!!
On to another subject. Did anyone have trouble with their children in Kindergarden. My son is ahving a really hard time in school. He is bigger than the other kids and sometimes hurts them. I don't think it is always intentional, but I have no way of really knowing. I really think he may have ADHD, but I don't know if he can be tested at such an early age.
I also don't know if I want to medicate him. On one hand I feel that if medication is going to help him live a better and normal life, than why not. But at the same time, I wonder if there's an unmedicated way of dealing with it. Any suggestions???
I had a virtually kid free weekend for the first time in a LONG time. I went to see Shania Twain on Friday night and it was awesome. Then my cousin got married on Saturday, and we went to the casinos on Sunday. It was nice, but I was exhausted.
Well everyone else is doing great!
Til next time.
Janis and Kayla
