Janis's Diary Entries

October 10, 2004

Hi Everyone,
Sorry it's been so long....but it's been quite an adjustment these past few weeks. I have to say...I've never been happier. I missed my kids so much during the week...now getting to see them every night has been AWESOME!!!! I have to say, the ride is tough though. It's 1 hour and 15 minutes each way...but it's definately worth it to be with the kids every night. We found Kayla and Joshua a nice and very flexible day care. They work with my DH's schedule, so some weeks Kayla is there two days , the next week three days. They charge by the day, and if we pay in advance for a day, then call to inform them that Kayla won't be there, they take that day off of the next week. Joshua also goes there too....but he goes every day. He's only in half day Kindergarden, so the bus drops him off right there.....school buses are not quite as flexible ...lol. But it's actually good for him because they learn there, and it gives him the structure that he needs. He gets picked up pretty early on the days Daddy is home though, because Daddy misses him.
Well other than settling in, nothing else has been going on. I'm taking the kids away by myself this weekend..this should be an adventure. We're going to stay at my moms. On Saturday I'm taking them ti Disney on Ice, and on Sunday we have my God daughter's communion party....so it should be a long, but fun weekend for them.
The following Friday Kayla has a cardiologist appointment for a heart murmur that was found at her last doctor's appointment. I'm sure it's nothing, but I am still freaking out. Then the next day we have a birthday party for my friend's son at a pumpkin patch. All the kids get to bring home their own pumpkin, and we go on a hay ride. I can't wait, it will be so much fun for them.

Well I can't think of anything else to say.

TTM
What are your kids being for Halloween, and how do you celebrate it???
