Janis's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
September 27, 2003
Hi everyone,
Well the day I've been dreading is finally here. I have to go back to work!!! I was really hoping I could be a stay at home mom for a little while longer. I'm really enjoying soending time with Kayla and her brother Joshua during the day. I'm enjoying being here when the other two get home from school. I can't wait to hear about their day, but then logic gets in the way. It was a very hard decision to decide to go back to work. It's something I've been struggling with for a while. It's really going to work out nice because my dh was able to work out working part time, enabling him to be home during the day. Since my job is higher paying, and I hold the health insurance, I couldn't think of a single logical reason for staying home. I wish someone could explain this to my heart. I wish someone could explain this to my children. The boys inderstand that I'm going back, but Kayla can't yet. She's just going to wake up on Monday and I'm not going to be here. That just seems so mean. When she wakes up, she walks around the house yelling for me. How is she going to feel when she can't find me? Only time will tell. Well if anyone has any suggestions please let me know!!
Sorry this was all about me, hopefully next time will be more positive!
TIl next time,
Janis and Kayla
