Janis's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |

Hi everyone!!
Well I had to go out and buy Kayla a big girl bed yesterday! I really wanted to try to keep her in her crib for a little longer, but she had other plans. We were cleaning the house yesterday, and noticed Kayla on the steps giggling. I guess she thought it was funny that she figured out how to get out. Of course Daddy the instigator had to put her back in to see how she did it. It wasn't even a minute later before he was bringing her back down. Then her big brother had to see it. She was out just as fast. By that time it was a big game to her, and for her safety, I went and got a toddler bed. She has a hard wood floor, and I didn't want her to hurt her little head. Not to mention her clothes getting stuck.
Last night was her first night in it. I took pictures, tucked her in the whole nine yards. About a half hour later, I heard her gagging. I ran up stairs and she threw up all over her new bed and Princess sheets. I have to say it's much easier to clean up a toddler bed than a crib.
Well besides the throwing up, last night was a success, she didn't get out of her bed one time. I was very proud of her. Let's see what happens at nap time!
Well til next time,
Janis and my big girl, Kayla
