Janis's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
September 12, 2003
Hi everyone,
Kayla is so busy lately, it's hard to find time to write. She is such a little bundle of energy. I thought it would be so much easier when the older two went to school, but I didn't realize how much they keep her amused. Now she's all over her four year old brother, poor little guy. He's being a good sport about it though, until the older ones get home.
I walked in Kayla's bedroom two days ago at naptime, and found her almost on top of her crib--uhoh--! I really wanted to keep her in the crib for as long as possible, but once she figures it out, I'm going to have switch to a big girl bed. I am not looking forward to it. She's only 19 months, I don't think she'll fully understand the rules of a big girl bed. The boys were both in beds right after their first birthday, because they figured out how to climb out sooner, but they've always shared a room with their older brother. That made it easier because he was good about laying with them until they got the hang of it. He was much smaller then, he loves Kayla to death, but not enough to lay in a toddler bed with her. It's so hard for me at night to do it, right after I put them to bed, I have to make lunches and make sure all the school stuff is together. I guess I'll figure something out. Any suggestions?
Well 'til next time!
Janis and Kayla
