Janis's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

September 2, 2003

Hey everyone!!!
Well we had an adventurous weekend. We took the kids camping for the weekend and they had soooo much fun. Kayla was very cute, and very active, it was almost impossible to keep up with her. She couldn't get over being allowed to run around (with someone running after her of course!) We slept in tents, I thought that would be a problem for her because she still sleeps in the crib, but she loved it!! We had a hard time getting her to sleep in the crib last night though!!! I enjoyed seeing her have so much fun, but I am exhausted. Thankfully next year she'll be older, so I'll be able to have more fun. My hubby wants to go again this year, but I think I'll try to talk him into taking the boys for a mens weekend, and me and Kayla will stay home.
Well on another subject, my little lady is 19 months old today. Where did the time go!!! It feels like she was just born yesterday. She is really starting to talk so much, she picks up so fast. Everything I said this weekend, she picked up on. I swear she learns 20 now words a day. She'll be talking in sentences before long. I've been fortunate enough to be home from work the last couple of weeks with her, I was having big problems at work, and now I don't want to leave her to go back. I'm seriously thinking of staying home for good. I will really miss the money, but my kids need me home. It will only be her and my youngest son home during the day, the other two are in school, so I'll get to give them the attention they need. It's a hard decision to make!! Any suggestions?
See you later,
Janis and Kayla
