Hi everyone,
Well not much new going on with little Miss Kayla. She is just a bundle of energy and such a sweetie. She has taken to saying some really cute sayings. We were in Kmart earlier this month and she saw a pair of Dora slippers that she really wanted. I told her that she couldn't have them trying to be a good Mommy and teach her that she couldn't have everything she wants :)! Well we happened to walk by them again and she put her little arm out and grabbed them. She started hugging them and said LOVE IT!! real loud and like a little valley girl. Of course that worked and Kayla walked out with slippers, how could I resist? She tried it with a few other things too, but I did draw the line. She is just too cute. I went away this weekend which I'll get into in a minute, (I do have to talk a little about my baby!!) and my DH took the kids to his cousin's house. She has a big back yard with a pool which is closed down for the winter. The problem is that his cousin doesn'e have any little kids, so the pool area is not toddler proof. Kayla kept trying to get up the steps, so my hubby told her to get down. His cousin stepped in and told her to get down hoping she would listen to her. Well my little attitude girl put her finger to her lips and said SHHHHH, cut it out...lol.
She's not the best behaved little girl, but we get a kick out of her.
She did have a recent stomach virus, ear infection and pink eye. I really don't know why she keeps getting so sick. I told the doctor that if someone walks by the house with it, Kayla gets it, it's really ridiculous. I feel really bad for her, I really hate medicating her, because I do want her to build up her natural immune system, but I hate seeing her suffer. I really don't know how to handle it. She is my fourth child and definately my sickest. Thomas and Josh are both healthy as a horse. Andrew is also a little sickly, with all his asthma problems, but definately not as bad as her. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to build her immune system??
Well on to me...lol. I just got back from Vegas late Sunday night, and I ahd a blast. I tried not to think about the kids much, but of course I really missed them. I went with my step sister who also has four kids, so of course we talked about them the whole time. The problem with her is that she also has three boys and a girl, but talking to her, you would only know about her little girl. She always says I miss Andrea, I wonder what Andrea is doing, ooooh I goota get this for Andrea. HELLO, what about the other three kids you gave birth too. I know you only hear about Kayla here, but that is because this is her journal. I do bore everyone else with many tales of the men in my life :). Well anyway I had alot of fun, and brought the kids home lots of gifts, they were all pretty excited. I bought them each two t shirts and a little toy. Thomas got dice that says Tom's casino, which he LOVES!! Andrew and Josh got a little deck of cards that say vegas, they both got a kick out of that, me and Andrew have a go fish date set for tonight with his little cards. And Kayla got a lillte pink fanny pack. She is really into pocket books right now, so I figured she would get a kick out of it. As soon as I gave her her stuff, she grabbed one of the shirt and put it on backwards and put her little fanny pack on like a back pack..lol. I turned the shirt around for her, but she fixed it :). So she walked around backward all day. Gotta love her.
I also took my driving test yesterday and passed, How I did that on only three hours sleep, I'll never know, but I did. Of course I ran right out car shopping, and I actually bought one. It's used, but it's exactly what I was looking for. It's a 93 plymouth grand voyager, and I love it. I drove all over yesterday. All the kids went with me, then DH took Kayla in the house to cook dinner, and I drove the boys to my moms to show hoer the car. Me and Thomas went out a little later too. I think I'm really going to like this whole driving thing. It's nice to be able to get up and go when you want!!
Well I definately made this long enough for today, come talk to me!!!
