Hi Everyone,
Let me start off by saying Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!!! I hope you all had a better one then we did.
We decided to drive up to see my Dh grandmom. She's in her 90's and he wanted to see her. Since she lives about 3 1/2 hours away we decided to rent a hotel room. While we were at his Grandmom's house I noticed Kayla was playing with something on the floor. It was his Grandmom's pills!!! We called poison control to tell them which ones were missing, and they said the ones she took probably won't hurt her. We had to watch her for an hour to make sure she did not get dizzy, and they would call us back. She was fine, but she did get a little hyper, I couldn't get her to sleep until after midnight that night. Then we wake up the next morning and my oldest son is throwing up. We decided to go to the lobby and reserve the room for another night so he can ride out the virus. All the other kids already had it, so I wasn't surprised.
Well my friend lives about a half hour from the hotel so I decided to go visit her with the kids. My DH dropped us off and when he was getting ready to leave I asked him to take Kayla with him so I could visit. Her nephew was there, and he is my boys age, so I knew nobody would want to play with her, and she has been getting into everything lately, so I knew I would not be able to visit. Well he refused to take her. I couldn't believe it!!!! He told me he was going back to the hotel to work on the car which he did not do, he went in the hotel room and read...must be nice!! Then Joshua was runnig around the house and he fell and his tooth went through his lip!!! He was bleeding everywhere, I couldn't find where he was bleeding from. Both his lips were swollen op twice the size, and he messed up his gum. I got him to hold some ice on it for a while, which helped with the swelling, but he still looks like he got into a fight.
SO of course my and Dh are now fighting and during the argument, he has the nerve to say that I always try to pawn my kids off on him, like they're not his kids or something!! I swear, sometimes I wonder why I'm with him. He tells me he needed a break from the kids, well what about me, when's my break.. UGH!!!
Well after he picked us up at my friends, we took the kids to a buffet to get something to eat. Dh barely ate anything which is not like him, of course, he got the virus. He was sick all night.
The next morning I woke up and I was sick. Of course, a perfect end to a perfect weekend. What a fun ride home I was so sick the whole way. What fun!!
I'm still sick today, but a little better. I had to send the kids to the babysitter's, which I hated doing when I'm going to be home, but I really want to get rid of this virus, so I can take care of them tonight!
Well I hope my week is better than the weekend I just had!!
