Janis's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

February 2, 2004

Hi Everyone,
Well it's official. My baby is no longer a baby!!! It's her second birthday. I am so excited, but at the same time, I am so sad. I love having a little baby, and that part of her life is over. Where did the past two years go? Her party was so much fun. She had a ball and got so much stuff!! We did the limbo, and danced the hokey pokey and chicken dance. She also played musical chairs for the first time. Too cute. Her favorite gift so far is one of the ones we got her. She got that new barney doll that sings, dances and twirls around, and she just loves it. She dances and jumpes and twirls in circles. It's so cute to see her interact in that way.
A little about what Kayla is doing:
She recognizes pink and yellow.
She counts to five.. she especially loves 2.
She likes to think she is playing video games.
She says between three and four word sentences.
She loves to eat.
She still loves her bottle(oops)
She sleeps in a big girl bed!!!
She plays really well with her brothers
Most of all she is just a sweet, happy little girl, who is just enjoying being a toddler almost as much as I am enjoying having her. Before she came along, I couldn't imagine having another child, now that she's here I can't imagine not having her here. I just love her more than life itself, and feel really honored that I am able to raise her.
Well I have to get all the kids stuff out for tomorrow!
Janis and Kayla
