Hi Everyone!
Well it has been a relatively uneventfull week. Josh came down with something last Tuesday and I am still not sure what it was. He seemed warm when I picked him up at daycare and ended up running a fever for 2 days, with a high of 102 degrees. I am sure that seems very high to most people, but Josh always runs high fevers and 102 doesn't even phase me anymore. He has had fevers over 104 in the past so 102 tells me that he is sick, but nothing to be running to the ER over. After about 24 hours the fever was gone. He had no other symtoms so I really don't know what he had. Wahtever it was, I got it too. a couple of days after Josh's illness, I came down with a fever and had it for about 24 hours. I had no other symtoms and felt fine the next day. It was strange, but I am happy to say we are all well now.
Josh has been having a lot of fun with water during this warm weather. We were given a blow up pool and a sand box from our neighbors and last weekend, Josh got a chance to try out the pool for the first time. I was gone during the day, so he played in the water with DH and Josh was still talking about it when I came home that night. He loves water and I would like to look into getting him some swimming lessons. I am afraid I may have waited too late into the season as most programs have already started, but I am going to see what I can find locally. I really think he is ready and I want him to feel comfortable in the water. He loves bath time and will lay down on his stomach in the water when I bathe him and blow bubbles.
We had our first garage sale last weekend and I must say I was surprised at what people will buy. I guess it is true what they say about one man's trash being another man's treasure. We sold almost everything we dragged out of the garage. There wasn't much, but we made about $100. It isn't that much, but it beats putting that stuff in the trash or having to haul it to the dump!
I don't think I mentioned that Josh had his first movie a couple of weeks ago. We took him to see "Finding Nemo". It was kind of an experiment to see if he would sit still long enough to watch the movie. It was a semi-success! He lasted for a little over half the movie then he just wanted to get down and run around. DH and I took turns taking him out of the theater and running around with him. I must say I was happy that he enjoyed the movie for as long as he did. I know now that he is not quite ready for a full length movie, but he is getting there. Maybe we will try again in a few months.
As for me, I am on day 26 and if I am not PG I will be taking clomid next cycle. The problem is that I can't remember when I am supposed to take it. I think my doctor said to start taking it on day 2, but I am not sure. Are there any ladies out there who have taken clomid and can remember what cycle day to begin taking it?
Thanks for reading!
