Hi Everyone,
Josh is now 23 months old! One month until his 2 year birthday! We have decided to have the party at the park down the street and I have just finished making the invitations. They came out really cute! I can't take all the credit, though, because my Dad actually wrote a little song and the lyrics are the text of the invitation. He is so creative!
John's parents are coming in from Florida to be here for Josh's birthday. It will be nice for them to see Josh as it has been almost a year since they last visited. They are going to be amazed at how much he has grown and chnaged (although they get pictures and phone calls regularly).
I am trying not to make this party a huge event, but I am not sure where to draw the line. There are 12 kids in Josh's day care class room and we have been invited to several parties from other kids. I am not sure if I should invite the entire class or only the one's whose parents I know. I would really hate to have someone get their feelings hurt for not reciving an invitation, but on the same note I wouldn't want someone to feel obligated to come to the party when they don't really know us or Josh. Any suggestions???
Today is my last day at work for a week. Before you get jealous, let me just say that I will be cleaning out the garage and doing major Spring cleaning so it is not going to be a lot of rest and relaxation. My husband has only been at his current job for 10 months so he doesn't have vacation time available to take with me, so I thought it would be a good time to get organized.
Josh has been well. We had another busy weekend last week. We had 2 children's birthday parties and I threw a baby shower for a friend of mine.
As for me, it is day 21 and I've got my fingers crossed!
Sorry to make this such a short entry, but I am getting ready to go pick up Josh.
Thanks for reading!
