Happy New Year!
I haven't got much time to write an entry, unfortunately. We had a good New Year's. New Year's eve we drove to Lincoln City, did a little shopping and a whole lot of walking. Lincoln City is on the coast, but the waves were huge, so we didn't go out to the beach. We ate at a 50s diner, and Chloe and Ivan danced to the tunes on the jukebox, enchanting most of the customers with their jivin'. We drove back in time to rent a few movies and watch them until midnight. It was a nice, low-key evening.
New Year's day, I got up early and made cinnamon rolls. The kids and I got a kick out of watching the Rose Parade. And then John and I watched Oregon State beat Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl. It was a nice, easy-going day. I'm attaching two photos from Christmas day. The weather was so beautiful, that we took the kids to the park.
Have a great week!
Heather
