Hannah's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

November 25, 2001

My poor little man has Chicken Pox!!!!!!! He woke up Friday with a few spots which we though may have been mosquito bites (we've had rain and they tend to come out after the rain), but as the day went on more and more came out on his face and torso. A few started to blister and then he started to scratch them. The little guy looks terrible as he has so many on his face and in his hair which seem to bother him the most. He keeps rubbing his eye lids as there are a few there. He has quite a few in his groin which look very blistery and sore, I guess that's from his nappy rubbing on them. We keep dousing him in Calomine Lotion and bathing him in Tea Tree Oil to try and stop the itching. He had a fever last night and isn't sleeping very well. This morning he vomited which wasn't very pleasant and he hs diarrhoea. So he is one unhappy little fellow. Cameron and I have both had it which is a good thing but my sister (17 y.o.)hasn't which may mean she's the next victim. Cameron is going to stay home with Louis tomorrow as I'm filling in for someone who's on holidays (in Human Resources) and I can't really bail on my first day.

Better go, sorry for the short entry but Louis is crying in his cot after having the shortest sleep in history, which means he's having trouble sleeping which all those itchy spots. I'll write more about the goings on here in Toowoomba soon.

Take care and Happy Birthday PIXIE!!!!

Love Hannah & Spotty
