October 31, 2001

keeping a little secret which is getting harder to hide even at this early stage!!!!! Yes, I'm pregnant and am currently in my 8th week. Things have been going well in terms of symptoms and signs of a heathly pregnancy..............I've had morning sickness (at any time of the day), really sore boobs and I seem to have a huge bump already which is rather scary at this early stage. I have an Obyn appointment next Wednesday, my first this pregnancy, where we will have a scan to accurately date the pregnancy which at this stage means I'm due on 17 June 2002. The Clomid worked on the first cycle!!! There is a 6% increased chance of having twins on Clomid, which doesn't sound like much, but it's got to happen to someone. There are twins on both my Mum's and my Dad's side of the family. I really don't think it's twins causing this huge belly but I do think that it's due to the very relaxed muscles tone associated with second pregnancies, especially mine. My butt is huge and growing into a mountain, something Cameron likes to point out whenever he passes me(in jest)which doesn't faze me as I just want everything to be alright, who cares if they need a crane to get me to hospital. The funny thing is I haven't really put on any weight, my body shape has just changed dramatically. So, I'll keep you posted on how we go next week.

Louis is just the most gorgeous little creature ever to grace my life. He is talking non stop and his words are becoming much more recognisable.

His words include 'doggy' 'truck' 'juice'
'car' 'hat' 'chocolate' (wonder who taught him that!, and many more words which I could fill the page with which would bore you to death. He still loves to dance and sings when asked to. His manners are getting better, even though we still have to prompt him to say 'ta' which sounds like 'aahh'. He loves to play under the covers of the bed, especially when I'm trying to make it, a good game if you're not in a hurry and don't mind making the bed 5 times!!! He has a thing for 'Nutella' (a chocolate spread) on bread, I try to spread on the smallest amount and despite the fact that the bread is only just tainted with the stuff he loves it. He loves bread but hates his crusts, like his Mummy!!! He picks the centre out of the bread and then works his way to the crusts (smart little fellow). He has been sleeping really well through the night. he still goes to bed at approx. 7.00pm and wakes at 6.00am which really is early but I get up with him as it gives us a little extra time together before we go our seperate ways on my work days.

We have decided to buy him a table and chair set for Christmas. We were going to buy him a Fisher Price Farmyard toy but it costs a fortune for what it is and I would rather spend that money on something that will last for a few years. I've also started to collect a few things for his stocking, eg. a Bob the Builder book. I am soooo looking forward to Christmas and can't wait to put up the tree and see his little face when he opens his presents on Christmas morning. I think even Cameron will be excited this year. He thinks Christmas is over rated!!!

Well I've written an essay but I really have been busting to tell you my exciting news and now, I feel, is the right time.

Love and sunshine to you all
