Hannah's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

March 8, 2002

Another week gone......29 weeks PG and in slight pain from a baby who thinks it wants to be FULLY engaged!!! I knew I had alot of pressure down in my pelvic region but I thought the little blighter was kicking me down yonder or simply running out of room. I went for my 28 week check up and the head is 5/5 engaged!!! My Obyn said that it may pop out and he didn't seem concerned that the baby was engaged. I guess he would have checked my cervix if he thought premature labour was an issue. But I must admit that at night when I'm buggered, the pain in my pelvis is not nice. It's even worse when I lay down to sleep. But I will get through, considering I had a breeze whilst PG with Louis.

Louis has been out an about with me today. We had guest speakers at work and a luncheon for International Women's Day. He came along as did the other bubs & Mums who are on maternity leave at present. We then went back to one girl's house for coffee. It was our regular Mum & Bubs morning tea/all day jaunt but we decided to go to the luncheon first. Louis had no sleep all day and his day began at 6.30am!!! He was a handful from about 3.00pm onwards,to say the least, but we survived. He actually has conjunctivitis at the moment and only started rubbing his eyes tonight, probably moreso from being sleepy. But we're treating it with eyedrops which should clear it up in a few days.

The "Oh sit" saga continues. I often hear him trying to do something whilst say, "Oh sit". I'm trying to ignore it now as I did try the reprimand approach the other day and the only response I got was "No Mummy". So we are back to ignoring and pretending we didn't hear it. What else can I do?

I'd better cut this short as we are still to pack our bags for a weekend away at my Dad's house. It's only 1.5 hours drive but we are leaving at 8.00am tomorrow so there'll be no time in the morning to pack. Hope everyone is well and enjoying their little ones.

Love to you all
