Hannah's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
February 3, 2002
It's been awhile since I posted an entry and I apologise. Firstly, we aren't moving for Cameron's work. He came second in the running which doesn't really mean much when you either get the job or don't. But we were relieved!!! It would have meant so much work getting ready to go, uprooting our home and temporarily living in someone elses until we purchased one for ourselves. I think I would have found it hard to live in a house I knew I couldn't touch. We love our little house and even though in the next 3 years we will need to move to something bigger it's still our home. I like the thought of bringing our second baby home to the house where Louis has spent the first 2 years of his life. It would have been fine if we had to move but we can breath easy with the sanding of the windows, painting of the outside of our house, etc. I truly believe things happen for a reason and for whatever reason we are meant to stay here.
Louis is just adorable.........he cracked me up laughing so much the other day that I was crying. I was laying on our bed, he was jumping away.......with his satin boxer shorts on his head!!! It was funny and of course I lost it which made him giggle and act even sillier.
He is really talking up a storm. He repeats EVERYTHING we say, in sentences. He has started to say his name when he wants things or talks about things. He'll say "Sousis kick the ball". It's really cute when he says his name and we ask him all the time what his name is just to get him to say it. He woke up from a nap with Cameron and I today and lifted my shirt up and said "Bubby", then kissed my belly. I have no doubt that after the initial shock of there being another crying little baby in the house, he'll be a loving big brother.
Speaking of our baby who is/isn't Eamon Hugh. We have been going back and forth with two names, despite the Hewy, Dewy and Lewy scenario. It's either Eamon Hugh or Hugh Francis.........I like both and can't really decide. I guess we'll have to wait and see when the time gets near as to who this mystery baby is. I'd laugh myself silly if it turned out to be Claudia Brooke!! The little babe has been kicking me on a regular basis, which I love. Sometimes it's so I can see it and other times it's right down low in my pelvis. I go for my 24 week Obyn check up on Tuesday which I can't wait for. I love the appointments as it means I'm getting closer to meeting this little miracle. My bump (I originally typed BUM by accident!!!!) is getting bigger, I think in the last 10 days it's really grown. I can feel my skin stretching of an evening..probably the huge dinner I just consumed....LOL.
Well my dear friends, take care of yourselves and kiss the little ones for us.
Love Hannah & Louis XXX
