a BOY!!!!!! Cameron and I are, of course, over the moon. We simply feel blessed that we are having another baby (after the trouble we had conceiving). The U/S was fantastic. Louis came into the room with us and he was as quiet as a mouse, looking at the screen. The baby waved at us and Louis thought this was great!!! We actually forgot to ask the doctor what sex the baby was until it was all over which may have lead him to say, "I think it's probably a boy". My best friend's brother (a doctor) later told us that probably means a 70% rate of accuracy. I guess the radiographer saw 'something' for him to say 'boy' and was covering his butt telling us 'probably'. But we don't mind if it turns out to be CLAUDIA BROOKE.
Don't ask me about names for a boy....we really like EAMON FRANCIS but we're worried about people not being able to pronounce it. You can spell it AMMON or AMON, but we don't like it spelt that way, we prefer the Irish spelling. So we'll see what happens closer to the time.
The little bub is moving around heaps. I can feel it during the day but it's favourite time to moving is in the early evening or when I first lay down in bed at night. I LOVE IT!!!!! I'm feeling much more confident after having the U/S and finally being half way. This U/S only placed me back one day, which is the date I would have said going by my cycle (24 May 2002).
Well I'd better dash, still have things to be put away....we only arrived home today. Oh, before I go, Louis is in his big bed for the first time tonight. I had to sit with him but I didn't mind. He was so tired so it didn't take him long to drop off. We purchased a bed rail today and a night light for his room (to make it easier for him, and me, if he wakes in the night). I'll let you know how we go.
