Introduction
Well, two entries (actually THREE if you count my entry for Toddlers Today) in one day. I've been a writing fool today! Actually I just wanted to get going on my Toddler diary so no one forgets about me!!! I hope that all my readers from Babies Today will follow me here! I'll miss you all if you don't! I'm also looking forward to meeting new people through my discussion board, so if you have something you want to talk about, PLEASE feel free to use my board. I LOVE getting messages!
I was thinking that I should fill you in on some of the things that Tyler and I do, so here it goes. Tyler and I started taking Kindermusik classes back in June of this year -- he was 6 months old when we started. These classes have been a godsend. Tyler has made several friends there, as have I. We are currently on break from Kindermusik, but will be starting back up again in January (which means I have to get my registration form in soon!!). Also, the Kindermusik caused the start up of a playgroup that we now participate in every Tuesday. Most of the moms and babies from our last class are in the playgroup. Right now we are just alternating houses since it is too cold, and now snowy, to go anywhere else. Hopefully in the spring we can start taking trips to the park, the zoo, Grant's farm and so many other places.
Christmas will be upon us very soon and I still have some presents to wrap. They are mostly all for Tyler, although a few are for one or two people in Steve's family. All of Steve's family still live in Pittsburgh, except for his older brother who lives in North Carolina. His brother was also in the Air force and that is how he ended up down south. Anyway, we try and visit Pittsburgh as often as possible because a) Steve's family is there and b) we LOVE that city. In fact we love it so much that we are seriously talking about moving there. If we do move it won't be for a couple years yet, there's too much going on around here to leave just yet. And, I'm still having a hard time deciding whether or not I want to leave my family. We'll have to see where it goes. As I was saying, we do try and visit there as often as possible, especially now that we have Tyler. I know how much Steve's Dad, step mom and mother wish they could be close to Tyler -- we make sure that we keep them up to date on all that Tyler does. This year Tyler and I have been to Pittsburgh three times, Steve has only been twice. Tyler and I went together in May to visit -- Steve had to work and didn't have enough vacation to go on that one. Steve, Tyler and I went to visit for a week in the beginning of October with my parents and also went again over the Thanksgiving holiday, without my parents. We had wonderful experiences for each visit. I'll be posting some pictures with this entry of our visit in November.
OK, I have to cut this entry short because it is late and I have to get to bed. Tyler is cutting more teeth and his sleep is disturbed on and off throughout the night, so I need my rest!! I promise to write much more in my future entries!! Sending hugs out to all the babies, oops, TODDLERS!! I gotta get used to that!!!
Catch you all next week!
Erin
P.S. The pictures are from are trip to the Burgh in November. One is Tyler and his Uncle Eric and the other is Tyler and his Aunt Carolyn.
