Erin C's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

March 9, 2001

Boy my entries sure are few and far between! But, Tyler and I are BOTH just getting over colds. I am pretty much back to normal, but Tyler still has some junk left up in his nose. I had to put a pillow under his fitted sheet so he would sleep at an angel. Well, as long as he stayed on the pillow he'd be at an angle. Tyler and I got sick on EXACTLY the same day with runny noses and sneezing all day long (this was last Friday). Of course this happens on the weekend that Steve was out of town so I was sick myself and had to manage to get my stuffy headed self out of bed to take care of Tyler. Neither of us were happy. My mom helped out a lot, but I got NO sleep. Now, that wasn't because Tyler was keeping me up, it was because I was too miserable to sleep. I didn't want to take NyQuil because it KNOCKS me out and Steve wasn't there to get up with Tyler if he had a problem sleeping. I tried Tylenol cold but that didn't do SHIT. So, I suffered through and luckily we are both doing MUCH better.

Tyler is really walking it up now. He loves to hold my one hand and walk all around the house and he is walking really far distances now. It is so cute when he walks. He holds both hands out in front of them with his fingers spread like he's trying to hold his balance or be ready to catch himself if he falls. He is absolutely adorable when he walks. But, he still prefers crawling over walking right now. I'm sure that will change once we are outside more.

Tyler and I start swim lessons this Saturday!!! We are taking lessons with a friend of ours from the playgroup - Christa and Max. Tyler and Max will be "Skips"! That's what they call the little swimmers. I am so anxious to do it, hopefully Tyler won't be too scared. I'll be holding him while we are in the water, so I think he'll do just fine. I'll fill you in on how he does next week.

Well, that is my short entry for this week with no new pictures. So here's the thing: I PROMISE to write a new entry next week with good details about all that's going on here and I will scan in some NEW pictures!! I had sent in pictures for my 1/14 entry, but they are just getting around to posting them now. Honestly, I am getting a little pissed about this whole system because our pictures never get posted. I won't get in to that here though. So, that's my promise to you all!! Have a great week and give big smooches to you little ones!!

Erin

P.S. I don't have time to spell or grammer check, so forgive me for any mispellings or funky phrases/words!!!
