Introduction
Hello all!!!
I hope everyone is doing well. We've all been pretty happy and healthy around here. Nathan had a great Halloween week and enjoyed his very first trick-or-treating outing with Rich. Of course he accumulated much more candy than any toddler would be allowed to eat, so we've safely tucked the sugary stuff away ... to be distributed sparingly throughout the next several months.
I am getting more and more excited about the upcoming holidays and can't wait until it's time to trim the tree. In the meantime, I am concentrating on Nathan's upcoming birthday party (12/16/00), which will not be as extravagant as last year, but will be lots of fun nonetheless. We are going with an Elmo-themed party this year since he is now actually old enough to state a preference (much to Rich's disappointment, Thomas the Tank lost out).
Our current big project is putting Nathan's room together. I've already ordered a pretty cool toddler bed, toy box and table and chairs. We are also in the process of refinishing an antique wardrobe for him. However, I'm having a problem with deciding on the rest of the decor -- curtains, wall color, border pattern, etc. If any of you know of Web sites or stores that will help, please let me know.
Until next time,
Nathan, Rich and I say good-bye
