Hello everyone! What a busy few weeks it has been. We closed on the new house (yeah) and my sister-in-law had the baby (yeah)....all on the same day!!! It was very exciting. My brother was with us at the closing and was keeping Nathan and my nephew Alex busy while we signed our lives away. Then we all went to the new house to check it out and start making lists for what we needed. My brother and Rich left to pick something up at the old house, when they came flying back into the room and my brother said he had to go because Linda was on her way to the hospital. Several hours later we had a brand new healthy baby boy in the family.
It was quite exciting for everyone, even Nathan. He had great fun because Alex got to stay with us for a couple of days while mom and dad were at the hospital with his new brother Jason. The two boys had great fun and just could not get enough of each other. They played very well together and there were few power struggles over toys.
These days Nathan is being a great help with unpacking boxes. He loves running through the new house and playing in the dirt in the yard. Although he did cry the first night we slept here. He woke up and just kept looking around and crying. He looked very confused and it took me several minutes to calm him down. Slowly but surely he is getting used to the new place. Rich and I look forward to creating millions of great memories here for him.
Well....gotta keep unpacking, so I'll check in again next week.
Take care, Rich, Debbie and Nay-Nay
