Debbie's Diary Entries

Hi everyone!!

Things have been pretty good around here lately. Nathan is doing well and luckily we haven't had any illnesses lately. Everyone is noticing that he is getting taller and slimming down. It will soon be time to go out and purchase new summer wear for him, which I will enjoy ... but Rich won't understand why it all costs so much. Oh well, what can you do.

The fortunate thing is that he has been wearing the same size shoe for about four months now. I know that will change soon, but it has been a nice break. We are thinking that we may start to see if Nathan is interested in potty-training. I don't know what signs we're supposed to be looking for, but I figure it can't hurt to see whether he's interested.

Nathan is proving to be quite a little helper around the house. He loves to help me unload the dishwasher and unfold all the laundry I've just neatly folded. He's been especially busy this week because my brother and sister-in-law are moving and when we go over there to help Nathan gets many hours of playtime with his cousin Alex. So far he's learned how to hide tape, destroy bubble wrap and if I'm not mistaken Alex is in the process of teaching him how to jump from box to box. It's as funny as it is nerve-wrecking, but so far nobody's been hurt. It's great fun to see the two boys playing together. I don't know whether that will get better or worse when my sister-in-law has her 2nd baby in August ... it's a boy!!!

That's all for now, take care.

Debbie, Rich and Nathan
