PEEP PEEP PEEP
I should know by now that I simply cannot go into a feed store when they have baby chicks. LOL I currently have 8 little peepers in a cage in my livingroom! It'll be another 4-5 weeks before they can go outside, so I'll be living with them for a while! They are the cutest thing (aren't they all?) and Alyssa LOVES them. "Chicken! Chicken!" I found an interesting breed this time, too - Blue Andalusians. They have silvery blue feathers and will lay white eggs. All of the others that I got I've had before and most will lay brown eggs. One will lay green or blue eggs. Only about 6 months until they begin laying LOL Our adult hens - all two of them - are currently giving us one egg every other day. One refuses to lay. Bad chicken.
VISITING...
My mom arrived on Tuesday and is staying through next week, then going down to Fresno to spend some time with my brother. I think we're planning to do some yard work tomorrow to see if we can start to whip this place into shape.
