Ugh, what a week last week was. Alyssa got sick on Monday night and threw up twice in her crib. She seemed fine, but cranky on Tuesday but started with a runny nose. I had a physical on Tuesday and promptly got sick on Wednesday or Thursday. Hanging over the toilet is not my favorite thing to do. That was followed by the worst migraine that lasted 2 days solid and was intermittent yesterday. Alyssa has a bad cough and runny nose. She seems to be getting better though. Go figure, we both have doctor's visits and within a week are sick. Somehow Earl avoided the sickies. Wish he'd share his secret with me! LOL
The weather is rainy again. We had about 10 days of sunshine and it was wonderful. Had me out planning the garden. Now I don't want to get out of my jammies... Someone suggested to me that the migraine could have been the result of the dropping barometric pressure as this storm moved in.
They're supposed to be getting Alyssa's picture up on the main diary page - WHOO HOOO!
I still have not gotten the kitchen/pantry areas together to have our health inspection. I have got to get motivated and get things done! I know we have stuff all over this house that goes in the cottages, but that's not excuse for the kitchen. I think the clutter in my house demonstrates my state of mind LOL
The carpet is set to be installed in the cottages on the 21st - this Saturday. But the tile isn't done, the fixtures aren't in, the paint isn't on the walls. Grrrr. WHY wasn't the painter here on Friday? What is the deal with people in this town? They never show up when they say they will.
Off to maybe assess the pantry/kitchen situation - or maybe take a nap...
