CHRISTMAS DAY
******************
After Don got back from shoveling sidewalks we sat down to open gifts. It was such a joy to see the "big eyed" looks on the kids faces as they opened their gifts. Noah really didn't know what was going on. Still to young to appreciated the tearing of gifts. Haa! But after they were opened he had a field day playing with them. We did get to see all the family, that snow did not stop this family! After we opened the gifts and before the grandparents arrived, we let the boys play while Don and I fixed breakfast. It was an awesome site to be standing in the kitchen with Don fixing biscuits, gravy and such and watching our 2 sons play together with their new toys. This Christmas was perfect! Don got the DVD, Star Wars Episode 2, which he loved, and he got me a diamond and sapphire ring. I have been wanting for some time now. Noah as of that morning got from us/Santa, a jack in the box, music and lights sit and spin and the 2 boys got a combo gift that was a chalk board/paint easel. We wanted this Christmas to be simple. Yeah that's what we thought till the grandparents showed up that afternoon. Since we couldn't make it to my moms house cause the roads, they came to us with the dinner and gifts. Don and I kept telling everyone not to go overboard on gifts this year. Guess they didn't listen. So as they brought food in, I noticed some of the "nosey" neighbors stepping out to see what was going on at our house. I bet they got an eye full when my mom and dad brought in half of a toy store. Goodness I still don't know where to put it all. So with those gifts Noah got (I will name just some) a little tikes farm set that he sits in to play, a animal nap pillow, slippers, blues clues puppet, frog puppet that makes sounds, clothes and more clothes, stacking cars, musical piano (that plays classical tunes), little tikes choo choo zoo train, and lots more that I can't even remember. It took 2 different pictures of the tree to get it all in. I have never seen such a site in all my life. Then we all sat down to eat. Then off to the in laws. This is where noah got more clothes, I think he is set for the winter and some of summer on the clothes department. I love some of the stuff my sister in law got. Three Tommy shirts, osh gosh outfits, Nike apparel, adidas, and the list goes on. He got a frog chair, what is with the frog theme this year? a noisy push toy, a pull along puppy, and some other stuff. I think we counted over 30 things, that was with lumping the clothing as one gift. Noah was so overwhelmed by the time we got to my in laws that we had my niece to unwrap the gifts for Noah cause he was more interested in playing with other things. She had no problem with the tearing of wrapping paper. After visiting for a while we came home. And unloaded the toys and off to bed. The next morning was spent taking toys out of boxes, then Noah had himself a grand time playing with all the new toys that entertains him for quite a long period of time. Or at least it does for now, till the newness wears off. Wednesday we go and have his pictures taken and possibly some family pictures too.

Noah followed my niece around everywhere, he must have thought it was cool to have someone about his own size to play with. She didn't know what to think of it at first but warmed up to him real quick. They took turns on the hobby horse, and pulling the puppy toy around. She even tried going home with us that night. Oh I would have took her if I could. She can't say Noah's name all the way so she called him "Noie" it was very cute! I think I got enough loves from her to last me a couple months. When we left the in laws Noah was ready to go, he had a fit that daddy went out the door without him.

SICK LITTLE BOY
********************
Is it an unspoken law that a kid will most likely get sick after christmas? It seems so, about every other year my oldest seems to get a cold, or something. Well this year both are sick. We thought it was just a cold, but found that it was far worse than that! After taking the boys to the Urgent Care we found that Noah has a bad case of (don't know the correct spelling) bronchitus. So he is now on meds for that. They said the medication will make him wired. Lovely! So far I don't see a difference, cause he is usually all over the house anyway. But that cough of his is something awful! He hasn't had a fever since last night, thank God! Having 2 sick kids is not a joyful thing. I just hope that get better real soon. So we can go play in the snow. I would have never guessed Noah to be this sick without a doctor looking him over. I honestly thought it was just a bad cold. Thank God for the doctors. Well that does it for now. Hopefully we will have pictures to share next time.
