Christa's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

July 24, 2003

Time to update again. Well we didn't buzz Noah's head. It wasn't bad enough to mess with. So it is growing out fine. Can barely tell. But boy that is one for the books. Something Noah can look back on and see the joys of childhood with a big brother. Haha! I swear the more days go by the stronger willed he gets. He doesn't put up with any crap from Austin. Austin will try to pick on him and Noah will let him have it either verbal or physical.

Noah is saying more and more words. He is getting down peoples names, to a point. He may leave a letter or so out but we know who he is talking about. He says the sitters name, my friend 'A', Heather, which she doesn't know yet, but will when she reads this. haha!

A few funny stories:

On the way to Branson last weekend we were sitting at a stop light, a maroon mini van beside us. Normal sitting. Till Noah starts in at a loud pitched voice "PAWPAAAAAAA!!PAPAPAPAPAPAPA!!!!! PAAA PA! PAAA PAA!" Ok Noah that is not what are you yelling papa for. Papa is at home. Don points to the driver of the mini van. He is an older gentleman wit a grey beard, just like papa. I laughed a little and said yeah that looks like papa doesn't it?

Today while I was at school, Don at work, the kids here with the sitter. Don walks in the door, and noah has gotten in the fridge, gotten out the big pot of cheese dip, sat it on the table, got in his chair and dived into the dip with both hands. While the sitter was in the other room. Don calls for the sitter and she came out, not thinking Noah would get into, or could get into the fridge. Haaa!! He showed her that ya can't leave him for a second.

Not so funny story!!!
Today Noah took my toss pillow flung it across the couch only to land on the end table, knocking my lamp to the floor to shatter into tiny pieces.

That's all folks!
