July 4, 2003
We had a great fourth of July weekend. We spent it with family. And there was no tension this time. We all got along so great, and it made it that more enjoyable. At the end, it was sad cause we knew that my BIL, SIL, and niece are leaving soon. They are being relocated to Germany for at least 4 years. I took so many pictures of my niece this weekend she must think I am a crazy woman with a camera. And pictures of her and my boys together were so cute. Noah started repeating everything my niece said. I was happy with that. Now he is talking even more! And everytime she went potty he thought "he had to go"
He has broaden his words to the newest:
help: sounds like "hemp!"
thirsty: sounds like "tirsy!"
please: sounds like "peeease!"
all done: "i done!"
yes sir: "es sur!"
thank you: "ank ew!"
and I can't even think of the rest. It seems like everyday he is saying something else new. I am going to have to keep a paper and pen on hand to write it all down.
Noah was NOT thrilled with the loud fireworks! We had to cup his ears everytime one went off. And the sparklers? Well he was not really wanting to do it. This is odd coming from a child that is a daring one by nature.
Hair cut
~~~~~~~~~~
Ok, so I got the trimmers out and buzzed Austin's hair. It is a summer thing we do since his hair is SO thick. Well sometime between the 4th and the 5th, me noticing yesterday the 6th, Austin got the trimmers and took a small chunk out of the top of Noah's hair! Oh lord! Now what do I do? Should I leave it, and just let it grow back, noticeable but not bad. Or should I whip out the trimmers and buzz it with a #2? What to do? What to do?
