Well Noah is 18 months old now. He just had his check up yesterday. I gotta call on the exact measurements. But I do know he weighs 26 pounds and 4 1/4 ounces. He is in the 50 percentile for his age. The doctor said he is in the 50th which is perfect. She checked his ears...Perfect! We both grinned about that one. It has been so long since I heard that about Noah's ears! What a relief! He is a busy little thing though, and Dr. V noticed that yesterday. She was very shocked at how much he wants to climb, get into EVERYTHING, and his vocalness, is that a word? Boy he was all over the place yesterday, until they pricked his finger for a hemoglobin test. That made him very quiet. The test came back fine. But I voiced my concerns about his length of vocabulary. So I will be getting a call from the audiooligist (sp) soon to set up an appointment for a hearing test. If Noah fails the test we will have to go back to the ENT for speech theorpy. If not then we will check him again at two if there is not a major progress in words. So now to wait once again.
A NAKED BABY IN THE HOUSE!!!! It seems everytime I turn around lately Noah has removed his diaper and is cruising the apartment naked. Thank goodness he has not yet peed on the floor! Grandma pulled him from the tub this weekend, due to him starting to pee in the tub and sat him on the stool. He didn't fuss about it, he grinned matter of fact. Hummmm. Gonna buy that potty chair in 2 days. He has started to say mine lately. Oh man this may not be a good thing. Everything is "mine" and he has started saying "GOOO" when he wants to leave or when we are in the car. In the car he will say, "MOM..MA! GOO!" I think it is cute. I hope that the hearing test goes well, I just am a little worried about the amount of words he is not saying. IT could very well be because he has so many ear infections that it has put him behind, but better to have it checked then to just wonder. Well I think that is about it. We are getting settled in our new place and Noah is having a grand time exploring every little corner.
